Before we begin …..

A message from Director Michael Pin:

Welcome Back!

It has been a long road, but as you’ll hear tonight, the Harlequin Singers have continued to work hard throughout the pandemic doing what we love to do best – sing! We are so excited to be sharing Broadway music with you once again – Live! My thanks to the choristers for their commitment and dedication to producing good sound and meaningful music despite the challenges of rehearsing via Zoom, singing through choral masks while physically distancing from their peers, rehearsing and performing outdoors (sometimes in frigid temperatures) and remaining nimble during the many changes.

This evening is all about you! And so, we present our very best! You’ll hear Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, and even Something Blue. We also welcome to the stage and are excited to make music with Richard Moore, Steve Hilbert, and of course, Laura Pin. So please, sit back with your favourite beverage and let Matthew Ruiss and the Harlequin Singers take you on a musical journey.

Thanks for coming!
Michael

INTERMISSION

Thank you for coming to watch us perform! We are so appreciative to have you in our audience today!

The Harlequin Singers have been bringing our Broadway love to the Hamilton community and surrounding areas since 1967! It is because of our patrons, family and friends that we can continue to do what we love and share with all of you.

The global pandemic has been difficult for everyone. We were so fortunate to be able to continue practising together in many different ways! From virtual rehearsals, to rehearsing in outdoor spaces, and finally into indoor spaces, the Harlequins have worked hard to perfect the Broadway Style music we all love.

As we continue to share the love of music , your donation would help us with sustaining our establishment and help to keep us running. Your donation is so greatly appreciated and will aid us in our endeavors to give back to the community we have been so lucky to be a part of all these years.

Any contribution is welcome — Thank you very much for your continued support!
